Publication in our journal follows an accesible and transparent process that aims to ensure a high publication standard. No submission fees, editorial processing charges, article processing charges, page or colour charges are applied. The entire correspondence during the editorial process, such as sending manuscripts, reviewing process, corrections, is carried out via email and does not involves registration.

The journal publishes an issue per year. Every year, the Editorial board sends a written invitation to provide papers for the next issue. Additional manuscripts are accepted, provided these have been approved by the editorial team.

The journal employs a standard double blind reviewing process, where neither the identity of the author nor the reviewers is revealed. The manuscripts will be sent out to two reviewers. If they happen to disagree, the paper will be forwarded to additional reviews. The reviewers should offer their opinion on the paper as well as any suggestions they might have with respect to its content; they also give their opinion on the categorisation of the article. The final decision on categorisation is made by the Editorial team. The reviewers should follow the internationally accepted standards in evaluating the quality ofthe manuscript. The reviewer’s responsibility is to evaluate the originality of the manuscript, itsscientific contribution with respect to the subject, and its relevance for the theme it discusses. Each paper follows a double-blind peer review process involving two reviewers.
All revisions and suggestions are visible only to the parts involved. For all accepted manuscripts are sent by the editors to the authors, who are required to make one or, if needed, multiple corrections prior to the publication of the final manuscript.

Authors should expect confirmation from the Editorial team of the acceptance of their manuscript for reviewing no later than 2 weeks. Provided the manuscript was accepted, the reviewing process can take up to 12 weeks, depending on the changes suggested by the reviewers. The journal reserves a period of up to 24 weeks for the complete process of editing until the publication of the articles.
Each author will receive after publication a copy of their article and/or a printed version of the journal issue, depending on availability.

Long-term preservation services for the journal's content are provided through the Library of the Institute of Archaeology and Art History Cluj-Napoca.
